Background and Expertise
Oliver Schrot, PhD MSc studied environmental sciences and geography in Vienna, Copenhagen, and Innsbruck. As the first climate coordinator of the city of Linz and head of the Department of Economy, Innovation, Climate Protection, and EU, he laid numerous foundations on the path to becoming a climate-neutral industrial city. As a business and policy consultant, a systemic approach, empathy, and professional expertise are important to him. He also supports the Austrian Panel on Climate Change (APCC) and the Driving Urban Transitions Partnership (DUT) as a reviewer.
