Five Questions for Bettina Steinbrugger
What should people know about you and your background?
I am a passionate entrepreneur, sustainability advocate, and taboo-breaker and try to combine all these aspects in my work. My passion is to leave the beaten path and develop unconventional, sustainable solutions.
Which aspect of sustainable business is underestimated in your opinion?
In my opinion, conscious "downsizing" in favor of social impact or sustainability is underestimated. Sustainability doesn't always have to be linked to business growth, as our planetary boundaries show us every day.

In my daily work, I am driven by the desire for real, sustainable solutions. I want to work with companies on meaningful, future-proof products and services that make our world a little better.
What do you value about working in an interdisciplinary team?
The different perspectives, working at eye level, and the diverse professional expertise. All of this brings invaluable added value when interdisciplinary teams are in action.
How do you envision sustainable business in 10 years?
Hopefully we won't be needed anymore because sustainability has arrived in the DNA of all companies. But that's probably too optimistic for the next 10 years. ;)
